This morning I got up before Savannah, made coffee and gathered my laundry. I waited til’ 7:45 and then took the laundry down to the laundromat to drop off.
Dropping off my laundry rather than doing it myself is one of those little life upgrades that has made a significant improvement in my quality of life. If you don’t have a washer and dryer in your home, find room in your budget for drop off wash and fold, It’s not that much and the time and energy that it saves is totally worth it.
Anyway, I dropped off the laundry and began my run. Today it is like 55 degrees and just a little rainy. I LOVE this weather. If I could craft a perfect running day this is the weather I would choose. It also felt pretty amazing running unencumbered by a giant backpack, wearing capris and a tech shirt without a big ol’ coat. I felt light and strong and happy.
After my run I hit the grocery store to buy coffee for tomorrow and some eggs to make breakfast. When I got home Savannah was ready to get up and start the day. Soon we’ll head off to the city for some shopping and pedicures and capping the evening off with a yoga class at Laughing Lotus.
